Used Car Price Prediction
We built a full ML pipeline for used car price prediction: 2.6M rows processed with Polars, careful feature engineering to avoid target leakage, and a three-model comparison between XGBoost, CatBoost (ordered boosting), and LightGBM. Tuning ran through Optuna's Bayesian search with K-fold cross-validation.
Evaluation went beyond global R²; we broke down MAE and RMSE by segment to identify where models struggled. A critical finding was the survivorship bias in the data (sold cars only), leading us to pivot away from time-based targets. Delivered as a team-led project using an AI-augmented workflow; we leveraged Claude and ChatGPT for rapid feature prototyping and as a secondary layer for code review and documentation.

Future Factory — Team Fearless
Part of JAMK's Future Factory (10 ECTS), acting as a software vendor for an external client. I led a six-person cross-functional team to deploy a managed PrestaShop platform featuring Docker containerization, automated CSC Allas backups, and GitLab CI/CD. The project was delivered across six Scrum sprints and four Gate reviews.
Balancing the dual role of Team Leader and Developer, I managed sprint planning and stakeholder collaboration. We deliberately prioritized sprint stability and Gate reviews over feature depth—aligning with the course's focus on operational fidelity and sustainable teamwork.

Built with a clear division of labor: I architected and directed while Claude executed. The project spanned three Claude interfaces — Cowork, Code, and Design — maintaining high-level architectural control throughout. The process still required extensive hands-on iteration — animation debugging, micro-corrections, responsive behavior, and UI polish. Some elements were intentionally shipped as "good enough"; for example, chapter marker progress transitions between sections remain slightly imperfect because further refinement wasn't worth the additional complexity.
Custom personal CV site built from scratch with Astro, scoped CSS, and TypeScript — optimized for both desktop and mobile. The site emphasizes accessibility, responsive behavior, and performance, with semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, reduced-motion handling, and a lightweight Cloudflare Pages deployment.
